Shanee Chambers
LMSW
I’m Shanee Chambers, a Licensed Master Level Social Worker (LMSW, licensed to practice in New York and Florida), with over a decade of experience helping individuals from all walks of life. My career spans working with diverse populations, including youth in foster care, adults transitioning from homelessness, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those facing mental health challenges. I’ve had the privilege of working in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, providing crisis counseling, and supporting medically fragile and hospice patients. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the importance of compassionate care and a holistic approach to healing.
As an ¨out-of-the-box clinician,¨ I’m passionate about using creativity and a variety of therapeutic methods to meet my clients where they are. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals transform negative thought patterns and foster resilience. I believe in the power of repurposing pain and guiding clients through post-traumatic growth toward healing and empowerment.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the City University of New York and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy serving my church, being an aunt to my nieces and nephew, and caring for my dog, Miley. I also love to travel and experience new cultures.
As a faith integrationist, I’m committed to helping individuals incorporate their faith into therapy, using spirituality as a powerful tool for healing and personal growth. I’m here to support you on your journey to self-discovery and transformation, walking alongside you every step of the way.
