Betsy Parker

MSW-Intern

Elizabeth is a 2nd year MSW Intern completing her practicum with Remnant Therapy for the Fall of 2026 and Spring of 2027 Semesters.

Life can be challenging, and no one should have to face those challenges alone. My passion is to walk alongside individuals with compassion, grace, and hope as they navigate life’s difficulties. My desire is to provide a safe, compassionate space where healing, hope, and personal growth can begin.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University with a minor in Religious Studies and am currently completing my final year of the Master of Social Work program at Northwest Nazarene University. My education, combined with my faith, has strengthened my commitment to serving others with both clinical knowledge and Christ-centered compassion.

I am a Board Certified Christian Mental Health Coach and serve as a Chaplain with the New York State Chaplain Task Force, where I have the privilege of providing emotional and spiritual support to individuals experiencing crisis, grief, trauma, and life’s unexpected transitions.

I am also familiar with 12-Step recovery programs and have a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to pursue healing from addiction and the impact addiction has on individuals and families. Whether you are in recovery, supporting a loved one, or seeking hope after difficult experiences, I understand the value of community, accountability, and grace throughout the healing journey.

Outside of my work, I have been married to my husband for 30 years. We share our home with our lovable pit bull, Preston, who reminds us daily of the joy found in loyalty, unconditional love, and living in the moment.

Whether you are facing anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply seeking a place to grow emotionally and spiritually, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you pursue healing, hope, and renewed purpose.
